The Wilderness Ridge Story
Since 1981, Wilderness Ridge has led thousands of children and adults to Christ at its awesome, 80-acre campus in scenic Preble County, Ohio. Today, it continues that legacy, primarily through an efficient and faith-filled partnership with Family Camp, Inc., by hosting retreats, outdoor activities and kids’s summer camp.
What is Family Camp?
Family Camp, Inc. is an Ohio non-profit and IRS 501(c)3 public charity, founded in 2006 and led by an independent, three person Board of Directors. Considered an agile, but high functioning charity, Family Camp has no employees, but develops and implements its programing and ministry through a legion of volunteers. It puts 100% of its operating budget toward accomplishing its mission to use God’s natural splendor to create exceptional experiences that transform and nurture families.
Family Camp has a 4-pronged approach
